The Burkert Type 8626 mass flow meter (MFC) is suitable for controlling the mass flow of large quantities of gas. A built-in thermal sensor, which is installed directly in the gas flow, ensures a high response speed. Flow controllers consist of a flow meter, an electronic module, and a corresponding valve. The setpoint is set electronically via a standard signal or fieldbus interface. The actual value of the recording sensor is compared with the set value in the controller. In addition, the actual value is transmitted via an analog electrical interface or fieldbus interface to external devices for further control or analysis. The Type 8626 regulator is calibrated for two different types of gas specified by the customer. Analog electrical signals and fieldbus are available as standard electrical interfaces. Thanks to its low sensitivity to contamination and high IP protection class, the 8626 is suitable for use in harsh environments.
